A partnership of more than half a century
As an Official Rolex Retailer for more than 5 decades, Torres Joalheiros continue to perpetuate the values of excellence and quality shared by both companies.

A FAMILY TRADITION

The year 1910 was marked by the implantation of the Republic. The founder Anselmo Torres along with his son Carlos Torres (on the image), started a small business of goldsmithery, in Torres Vedras. They have laid the foundations for what would become a family business for over 100 years.

In 1940, Carlos Torres decided to expand the business to Lisbon and then opened the first store at Rua da Palma. With the support of his son, Carlos Augusto Torres, in 1950, the store moved to Ourivesaria Pimenta, at Rua Augusta at the heart of Lisbon downtown.

TORRES JOALHEIROS INSIGNIA

In 1966, João Carlos Torres, son of Carlos Augusto Torres launched Torres Joalheiros insignia.

Over the years, the brand has strengthened its presence among clients and has established a business philosophy: deliver a service of excellence and distinction, preserving the quality, sophistication and exclusivity that Fine Watchmaking and jewellery industries are known for.

Business and tradition continue to be managed by the current generation, the fifth, represented by Ricardo, Paulo, Marta and José Pedro Torres.

TORRES JOALHEIROS AND ROLEX

The partnership with Rolex was established on the 3rd of March 1972, when Torres Joalheiros became a Rolex Official Retailer in Portugal. In a very short period of time, Rolex was present in every store of the group: Rua Aurea and in Pimenta, then in Cascais at Rua Frederico Arouca, followed by Centro Colombo.

In 2010, Torres Joalheiros launched its first Rolex Boutique in Lisbon. Three years later, Rolex is again the spotlight of Torres Joalheiros stores, this time with a newly opened store at Alameda dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra, in Cascais.

As an Official Rolex Retailer for almost 5 decades, Torres Joalheiros continue to perpetuate the values of excellence and quality shared by both companies.

Therefore, in 2020, the year that celebrates 110 years of existence, Torres Joalheiros is proud to opening the only Boutique Rolex in Portugal, located in Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon.
